Friction bearing grease 117643 Spacer PMF
In an automobile development project, a new grease was developed for lubricating high-load friction bearings made of plastic. The grease especially prevents stick-slip and grinding at bearing sites. This unpleasant effect arises when the vehicles have not be operated for a long period and the lubricant is pressed out from the bearing gap.
The thickness of the lubricating film decreases over time, and friction increases substantially.

Uses:
For plastic/plastic and plastic/metal bearings in measuring devices and instruments. For spindle drives, friction bearings, linear guides and precision gears.

Note:
Precision grease based on poly-alpha olefins with a metal soap adjusted to a soft consistency with a specific flow limit. This reduces the creep of the lubricant out of the bearing. Contains special PTFE spacer particles coated with a PMF (polymer friction modifier) for no-slip sliding (no stick-slip) even under a high load and at slow sliding speeds.
117643 Spacer PMF friction bearing grease does not contain any silicone!
